Publishing Your Site

When you finish adding content to your Canvas course and are ready to share with your students, you will "publish" the Canvas site.  Students do not have access to your Canvas course, or any content on your site, until it is published. Once a site is published, Canvas will automatically enroll your course roster.  Students are added to your course within 24 hours of publishing.  

 

On the homepage, "course status" displays on the left side of the page.  

 

Click "publish" when your course is ready.  The course status icon will turn green.
