Using the Panopto Android App (Google Play)

Logging into Panopto via BC Canvas

Tap "Sign in..." in the upper right hand of the screen [1].  Next to address, type <bc.hosted.panopto.com> as shown on the screen to set BC Canvas as your Panopto site [2].

From the drop down menu, ensure that "BC Canvas" is selected, and then tap "Sign in" [3].  Next, log in using your BC Canvas username and password and tap "Sign in" [4].  In the next window, tap "Authorize" allow Panopto access to Canvas [5]. 

Browsing and Searching for Recordings

The screen displays all recorings you have access to, sorted by date, with the most recent displayed first.  You can use scroll up and down to browse recordings. 

To search for a recording by title or key word, tap the magnifying glass icon, and then type in search term using the touch screen keyboard.  [Note: to begin the search, you may need to tap "go," "enter/return," "search," or the magnifying glass icon on the touch screen keyboard].  A list of recordings and slides containing the search term will then appear.  Browse through the results, and then tap on the recording you want to view. 

The Tablet Viewer

You can pause the recording by clicking the "pause" icon [1], or skip back ten seconds by clicking the "rewind" button [2].

Alternatively, you may drag the process indicator forwards or backwards [3].
