Genes in the News
This semester, we will be doing group projects on a news item that relates to genetics. This page is meant to serve as a resource for the class. Posts should be informative and provide links to the articles. Articles should be chosen from the POPULAR press, i.e. NOT the Science Daily website or a research article. Newspapers or press releases make good starting points for a project.
All posts should include mention of a new research finding with a genetics component. I (Dr. O.) will actively curate this page and I may delete some posts, because they do not include a new finding in genetics. Nonetheless, all posts will be noted and considered to be contributions to the class. Please do NOT duplicate earlier posts. Duplicate posts will be deleted.
