Seminar Presentation

  • Due No Due Date
  • Points 10

On the final two classes (November 29 and December 6), you will conduct a seminar presentation of your final project. You have the option of reading from full text (i.e., sentences and paragraphs) or point form notes: both are routinely done at academic conferences, and you should choose the method that you're most comfortable with. You should speak for about 10 minutes, after which there will be a question and answer period.

Given the timing, your project will obviously still be in process; think of the seminar as a preliminary, performative version of what you'll be turning in to me. You should also look on it as an opportunity to try things out and/or to ask me and your classmates for reactions, direction, and suggestions.
